Girls’ Generation Stamps to Go on Sale in August!
‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’ modeled on Girls’ Generation will go on sale in the beginning of August.
Korea Post said “‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’ will be the first celebrity stamps directly contracted and issued by Korea Post. We specially made the stamps modeling Girls’ Generation, who has been making remarkable activities all over the world.”
These stamps will be composed of the set commemorating Girls’ Generation’s 5th anniversary of their debut and contain a total of 14 stamps including each member’s images from the 3rd album with their autographs and their previous albums’ cover images.
The stamps will be available at 50 major post offices in Korea and ‘2012 Korea Philatelic Exhibition’, which will be held in COEX (August 8, 2012 ~ September 13, 2012), for 20,000 won.
Kim, Taewan, the team leader from Korea Post, said “We expect that this Girls’ Generation stamp will greatly contribute to the development of stamp culture and spread of Korean-wave culture.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation released the new single ‘PAPARAZZI’ in Japan on June 27th.

소녀시대 우표, 오는 8월 발매!
우정사업본부에서 발행하는 최초의 연예인 우표!
소녀시대를 모델로 한 우표 ‘소녀시대 나만의 우표’가 오는 8월초 발매된다.
지식경제부 우정사업본부 측은 “‘소녀시대 나만의 우표’는 우정사업본부에서 직접 계약하여 발행하는 최초의 연예인 우표로, 글로벌 KPOP 열풍의 주역이자 전 세계에서 눈부신 활약을 펼치고 있는 소녀시대를 모델로 특별 제작했다.”고 밝혔다.
이번 우표는 소녀시대 데뷔 5주년을 기념한 세트로 구성, 소녀시대 정규 3집 ‘The Boys’의 멤버별 이미지에 친필 사인이 더해진 우표 9장과 ‘Gee’, ‘Oh!’ 등 소녀시대 역대 앨범 재킷 이미지로 제작된 우표 5장 등 총 14장이 수록되어 팬들의 뜨거운 반응이 예상된다.
‘소녀시대 나만의 우표’의 가격은 2만원이며, 오는 8월초부터 서울중앙우체국 등 전국 주요 50여 개 우체국과 삼성동 코엑스에서 개최(2012년 8월 9일~13일)되는 ‘대한민국 우표전시회’에서 만날 수 있다.
더불어 우정사업본부 김태완 팀장은 “금번의 소녀시대 우표가 우표문화 발전과 한류문화 확산에 크게 기여할 것”이라고 기대감을 전했다.
한편, 소녀시대는 지난 27일, 일본에서 새 싱글 ‘PAPARAZZI(파파라치)’를 발표했다.
